The Jupiler lager is originally brewn in the community of Jupille-sur-Meuse (hence the name), located near the river Meuse, part of the city of Liège in the south region of Belgium. It is considered the most popular lager in Belgium.
Jupiler is the sponsor for the Belgian and Dutch 1st league football competition (soccer), which is thus called the 'Jupiler League'.
Jupiler is property of InBev (formerly known as InterBrew - Stella Artois)
